I currently work at Zumiez Inc. as the Digital Design Lead. I've been with the brand for nearly 5 years with a deep understanding of designing for and within the e-Commerce space. My time here has given me hands-on experience designing for an ever-changing customer-facing website, email and social channels, mobile app, print catalog, flyer design, and a myriad of other efforts. I'm adept at managing people and have expert time management skills with the ability to multitask and pivot quickly from task to task. I don't mind rolling up my sleeves to get the job done, and I thrive in an environment where change is a constant.
Principal Accountabilities for Position:
🅐 Lead and manage the digital design team, providing guidance and mentorship.
🅑 Develop and execute creative concepts for digital marketing campaigns, website design, mobile apps, and other digital platforms.
🅒 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and IT, to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.
🅓 Maintain and enhance the visual identity of the brand across all digital channels.
🅔 Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our digital presence remains innovative and competitive.
🅕 Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
🅖 Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

🅓 Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), video editing tools, etc.
🅔 Experience with web design and development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
🅕 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
🅖 Strong organizational and project management abilities.
🅗 Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
